Chargers Defeat Colts Easily And Secure Their First Postseason Berth Since 2018

Indio, Indiana Derwin James Jr., a safety with the Los Angeles Chargers, raised his fist and bounced while wearing a Santa hat as head coach Brandon Staley embraced owner Dean Spanos and handed him a game ball.
Since I arrived here, I’ve been wanting to give him a game ball,” said Staley. “He has shown patience. He cares about this group. Dean Spanos, winner of the game ball and a playoff participation, has united us all.”
After destroying the dejected Indianapolis Colts 20-3 on Monday night at Lucas Oil Field, Spanos, Staley, and the Bolts had much to celebrate.
The Chargers will participate in the postseason for the first time since 2018, having secured a spot after improving to 9-6 with two games left in the regular season.
Players cheered as Spanos added, “I’m not good at giving speeches, but I’m really proud of all of guys.” “Let’s do it,” she said, “I know we’ve got a ways to go, but we’re beginning on a good leg right now.”
